Reverend Jeffrey Kennedy became the Senior Pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church Flagstaff in April of 2018 after serving as Associate pastor for two years at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Williams and two years at First Southern Baptist Church in Ash Fork.

As pastor, I make it clear that no one is excluded from that love and First Missionary Baptist Church is a place where you experience the Love of Christ poured out through HIS people. I am committed to preaching biblical truth in an honest and relatable way that reflects the character and nature of a loving God who forgives, while not diluting the message of repentance as a condition for forgiveness and surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ as a requirement for salvation.
In addition to ministry, I host a daily three-hour News/Talk show on radio, a weekly sports podcast as well as various other preaching and speaking engagements.

I am married to Rebecca, have six children and a growing number of grandchildren.

I love to read God’s word, lift weights, vacation on the beach, watch sports and take an occasional long nap.
